Shirley Remy, 81, of Alexander went to be with the Lord, April 26, 2024. She was born in West Point, Arkansas on February 1, 1943 to Will and Cleo Vaughn. Shirley loved working around her house and tending her flowers. She always said raising her son, Roy Anthony was her biggest accomplishment. Shirley was a very caring person and wise beyond her years.
She was preceded in death by her parents and five siblings, Charlie Vaughn, Guy Vaughn, Doyle Vaughn, Dale Vaughn and Glenda Faye Duke
.
Shirley is survived by her husband, Roy Remy; one son, Roy Anthony Remy (Lisa) and three siblings, Dickie Vaughn; Donald Vaughn and Ola Mae Vaughn.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Roy just called us today, may 1st & told us the news. We were shocked but know GOD knows the best plan he has for us all! She was a blessing to know & talk to & when we went to the same church, always had a smile & gave us little gifts to say love more / worry less cause she said Pat had the title of worrisome.. love & miss her & wish could’ve called her more
