Roller Funeral Homes of Arkansas have purchased H.A. Burns Funeral Home in Yellville, according to Dan Duren, owner of H.A. Burns Funeral Home and Renata Jenkins Byler, owner of Roller Funeral Homes.
"We have a deep respect for the Roller family," said Duren. "They are a family-owned firm that understands the grief needs of their families. They share the same caring philosophy of providing dignified quality services that our families have come to expect."
"We are excited to have the opportunity to welcome the Burns Funeral Home into the Roller family," said Byler "My family has been good friends with the Burns' family and our companies have a lot in common, especially the commitment to provide the highest quality of services at a reasonable cost. The Burns family, like mine has owned and operated their funeral home for three generations. That combined experience is going to be something special for the entire community of Marion County".
Burns Funeral Home has been serving families since 1935. Duren is the grandson of the founder, H.A. Burns. Since 1976, Dan and Susie Duren have worked side by side caring for the families during some of their most difficult times.
"Nothing will change. Along with Dan and Susie Duren will be Keith Barnes, Jim Collins and Lori Pyron continuing to serve your family" said Byler.
Roller Funeral Homes is a family-owned business started by Denver and Christine Roller in 1941 in Mountain Home, Arkansas. With the addition of Burns, Roller will operate 28 locations throughout Arkansas. It is affiliated with Citizens Fidelity Insurance Company, one of the largest home-owned insurance companies in Arkansas.
"By combining Burns & Roller Funeral Homes, the Twin Lakes Area is united under the white dove in flight and as always served 'With All Our Respect,' " said Byler.
