Thelma Wise, age 69 of OliveHill, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at her home.
She was born in Yellville, Arkansas on December 2, 1942 to Onual F. and Opal (Colvard) Hampton. Thelma earned her license as a Practical Nurse, April 2, 1971, and she later earned an Associates Degree and became a Registered Nurse, serving as a dedicated nurse for 40 years.
She is survived by her husband, Francis “Sonny” Wise of the home;
three sons: Tracy Wynn and wife, Jackie, of Yellville, Arkansas; Tony Wynn and wife, Cheryl, of Omaha, Arkansas; James Wise and wife, Kim, of Pottstown, Pennsylvania;
a daughter, Sandra Yarbrough and husband, Berry, of Bethany, Oklahoma;
two brothers: Arvin Hampton, and Tim Hampton, both of Yellville;
six grandchildren: Sarah Wynn, Emily McGee and husband, Stephen; Olivia Wynn, Trevor Wise, Cameron Wise, and Hayden Yarbrough.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers: Raymond, and Alvin; and three sisters: LaRue, Wanda, and Lavonne.
Graveside service will be 10:00 am Monday, April 9, 2012 at Georges Creek Cemetery near Yellville, with Stan Risley officiating.
Pallbearers will be Tracy Wynn, Tony Wynn, Sonny Wise, Arvin “Dobber” Hampton, James Wise, and Berry Yarbrough.
Honorary pallbearers will be Sandra Yarbrough, Stephen McGee, Hayden Yarbrough, Trevor Wise, and Cameron Wise.
