Willie Mae “Kate” Lake age 93, of Yellville passed away in the Twin Lake Therapy & Living Center in Flippin, Arkansas on Thursday, January 31, 2013. Kate was born in Oilton, Okla on April 16, 1919. she was the daughter of the late Roy and Willie (Dillingham) Wheeler. Mrs. Lake was a musician , along with her late husband, sang and entertained people with their musical talents. Mrs. Lake had been a resident of Marion County for the past 5 1/2 months having moved here to be close to her daughter, Jean, from Woodland, Texas.

Mrs. Lake is survived by: Her daughters; Jean Oxford and her husband; Kenneth of Yellville, Arkansas and Judy Biles of Houston, Texas.

One son: Roy Lee Lake and his wife; Jackie of Western Grove, Arkansas

She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

There are no local services or visitation. Graveside services will be held at the Evergreen Cemetery in Evergreen, Texas on Sunday, February 3, 2013. Services are under the direction of Burns Funeral Home.
